77/44 vs 77/22 receiver sizes

I'm wanting to do a custom project or two using a 77/44, and maybe a 77/357.

Included in this project, I'm wanting to change out the stock for a laminate.

From pictures, it looks as though the 77/22 is similar in size.

I'm needing measurements, like action screw spacing and receiver width for both the 77/44 and the 77/22.

If I can make it work, I would like to start with a 77/22 stock. I fully realize I will have some inletting and bedding to do, but I need to know how much.

The absolute ideal would be if someone could remove both actions from both stocks, and place the 77/22 barreled action in the 77/44 stock. If so, I could see if the notch for the bolt handle will be in the right place if indexed of the rear action screw.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you looked at Boyd Stocks? Ruger Classic or Replacement stocks.

The 77/44 is kind of its own beast. To my knowledge, the gun won't fit in any of those inlets.

I added a couple photos with scale so pixels can be counted to get dimensions

screw to screw 44- 8.41", 22- 7.67"
reciever width 44 & 22- 1.21"
rear screw to bolt 44 & 22- 1.66"
