New Ruger 77/44

Got a new rifle Friday 77/44 mounted a Leupold vari-x 3-1.5x5 sweet little rig!

Very nice. I have one composite and one walnut 77/44. I plan to put a similiar luepold lpvo on one. While the walnut one is more appeasing, I kinda like the composite ones more.

I love the wood stocks aswell but this one is going to be used in the national forest we have deer and hog so it will get banged up I'm sure through the years it's a light compact unit for sure

That's my reasoning as well. My blue walnut one is a bit beat up but it's beautiful. I'll have an easier time taking the all weather one out.
