I stopped to BS with the boys at the LGS this evening and bought a Ruger lower marked made in the 250th year of liberty. Made in the old Anderson plant I assume. Last thing I needed but couldn’t pass up the 250th roll mark.

Saw one yesterday at Murdoch's (or Sportsman's Warehouse?), but it was locked inside a display case AND in one of those plastic blister packages, so I couldn't tell if it had the "250th" marking or not. I don't need one either, but would still like to get one...

That was one of the 250th offerings they announced. If I had any desire for another AR I would have jumped on it. Currently, I am on the hunt for a good deal on the SR1911, and the engraved Hawkeye in 30-06.

FWIW, I've not found any problems with Anderson lowers.
Certainly, the RUGER 250th logo adds to the appeal.

I've had good experiences with the Anderson lowers as well.

Other than my original kept DPMS "Oracle", I've built 4 ARs in differing styles using Anderson (older and newer styles of horse size) lower receivers. Not a problem with any.

I need to get an FRT for one of mine, since I built it years ago.

"finding' extra gun parts is always fun.
Just a few days back I was shuffling stuff around in the shop building and there on a shelf above my 'shop desk' I found THREE completed 80% lowers. Maybe after the weather cools off a bit, I'll sort through the pile of uppers and match something up. I have a pile of scopes removed from the pickup load of rifles sold earlier this summer so it's going to be full on LEGO maniac.

I've got a box full of 80%'s that I bought when they were dirt cheap......every once in a while get the urge and carve one out.

oops...went and had a look at the 5D tactical site......and ended up with a P-80 76% Glock clone lower

I'm more of a 'marathon' carver-well, I used to be. I work outside due to the mess and once everything is set up, I'd just grind away until my hands got tired.
