Guy's finally got the grips that I want on the GP. I use to have a 4" GP100 and traded it for this 6" model. I really like a 6" much better for what I do with it, which is shooting plates at my home range. Really not interested in competition or any thing else. Not a hunter so here it is. I really like the Jerry Miculek grips on my 686 Competitor and these are the closet thing I could find for the GP100 to those grips. I have small hands and these style grips give me a very good and comfortable purchase on the weapon.

What make are those grips? I bought a set of Hogue Cocobolo grips for my 6" GP and spent a fair amount of time with a Dremel, a sanding drum and some fine sandpaper making them look almost exactly like yours.

They are just some ebay grips from Thailand. They are the only ones I could find like the Jerry Miculek grips for S&W. I bought a set of Hogue grips for this revolver and just plain did not care for them. These are really small and just fit me correctly.
