I use it for 230gr jacketed hardball and the accuracy is excellent. Only paid $20 per pound for the last batch in December. Also use it in 9mm & 38 Special.
Titegroup will work well with lead loads. Decent accuracy, velocity, and slightly lower pressures than some other powders if not pushed too hard. I like this powder.
I use Titegroup in my 45acp.
Load has worked really good in several 45acp.
CCI 300 primer
4.4grs. Titegroup powder
230gr. FMJ or CMJ
My Springfield XDM 4.5" 45acp gets 1" group at 7yds. (If I do my part) with a chronographed 700fps.
Load has worked really well in 3 gun shoot shooting steel plate and enough energy to knock steel plates off the spinning Texas Tree steel targets that are held in by stiff springs.
I use Titegroup without any issues in the 45 acp, usually 200 grain plated bullets. Just measure carefully. Many of us used Bullseye years ago, or still do, another power where a little goes a long way.
WST is my preferred powder for lead loads in the 45 ACP. But, I can relate to its spotty availability. I have used Titegroup with success but it has more "snappy" recoil and prone to lead more quickly than WST if your barrel is so inclined. Don't overlook Bullseye as an alternative if you can find some. Good luck!
