I'm concidering buying a new Blackhawk in .327 Federal Magnum. I have been checking on the advailablity of brass and I can't find it anywhere. are people just buying factory ammo and reloading that or what? I usually use starline, but they don't even list it. thanks. (sorry about my bad spelling)

I just picked up a GP100 in 327 and am having the same problem with brass. Federal said it would be March before they would have this brass in stock. I tried Freedom Arms today and they are out. The gal said they usually have Federal primed brass for $106.00 per 500 plus shipping but are also out at the moment. I have sent Starline several emails requesting they get in the 327 brass business but get no answers and no movement. My local gun shop is ordering 1/2 dozen boxes of American Eagle and once fired I guess this will become my 327 brass stash!

I have managed to aquire about 1000 327 mag cases & ammo. You just have to do a little hunting. FA will be getting more soon too. They build guns for that caliber.

Been shooting my 327's for some time now. A Buckeye rechambered by Bowen, a USFA convertible and a NMBH. Bought 4 boxes of AE 100gr. SP for $25/box and have been reloading ever since. Finally split one case down the side the other day. Figure 5 or 6 reloads per case so far.

I think .327 is a proprietary cartridge. I'm not sure Starline can legally produce it.

I got an email from Starline several days ago and they said they ARE going to produce 327 Federal brass but not sure right now when it will fit in their production schedule.
