220 Swift Load Help

I picked up a tang safety, 220 swift barreled action on this site a few months ago. I finally got it fitted into an original stock. The action is bedded, and the barrel free floating. Haven't shot it yet, so could use some load recommendations for the 55 grain Nosler B.T.

Back when I was shooting sod puppies with my Ruger 77, my go to load was 40grs. of H-380 for about 3700 fps velocity.

I've had good luck using Varget in my 220 swift. I don't remember the amount I used.

Try IMR-4064. It has always been the "go to" powder for the Swift.

I used about 41.5 grains with my 53HPs. Got good results and close to 3800fps or so. My books are in the other house, so not too sure about the velocity.
