I have one of the smaller versions at the bottom of this photo.

It looks like there is a lanyard ring at the bottom; is this correct?

If so I've never seen this before but I'm not an experienced Ruger collector.
 
Used to collect Ruger OM Flattops and early 22 Ruger single-actions now I'm down to just a couple of 22 handguns and a 22lr conversion unit on a full-size 9mm pistol...
1 a Colt Peacemaker 22lr/22Mag revolver in color case and blue with 4 3/4" barrel.
2 A 1969 Walther PP 22lr German/French in its original box with three really hard to find factory magazines.
3 a Swiss SIG P210-2 9mm pistol with a factory 22lr conversion unit and three very rare 22lr magazines.
These three pistols handle all of my 22lr shooting needs, but I wouldn't turn down a minty Colt Officers Model Match 22 if it drifted by...
 
I only have two .22 handguns, a 1976 Ruger single six and a 1959 Colt Frontier .22 magnum. Always wanted a pre-lock S&W 617 but the stars of $$ on hand and gun availability did not align.
