I have one of the smaller versions at the bottom of this photo.
It looks like there is a lanyard ring at the bottom; is this correct?
If so I've never seen this before but I'm not an experienced Ruger collector.

It is a lanyard ring screw. You can get them from Hogue, they just replace the screw that holds the Hogue grip on.

Wow. Love the Ruger single actions.....my collection is definitely in need of a Single Six.....
Smith and Wesson Model 34-1 Kit Gun and a Smith and Wesson Model 317-3 Airlite Kit Gun with Sile Combat Grips. The 34-1 has a Tyler T-Grip. The 317-3 has a Wolff spring kit and the lock deleted. It's so light that you don't even know you are carrying it and it holds 8 rounds.

Great looking 22 revolvers I need to get one no revolvers I have two 22 pistols a p22 and a ruger lcp2
Used to collect Ruger OM Flattops and early 22 Ruger single-actions now I'm down to just a couple of 22 handguns and a 22lr conversion unit on a full-size 9mm pistol...
1 a Colt Peacemaker 22lr/22Mag revolver in color case and blue with 4 3/4" barrel.
2 A 1969 Walther PP 22lr German/French in its original box with three really hard to find factory magazines.
3 a Swiss SIG P210-2 9mm pistol with a factory 22lr conversion unit and three very rare 22lr magazines.
These three pistols handle all of my 22lr shooting needs, but I wouldn't turn down a minty Colt Officers Model Match 22 if it drifted by...
