I have one of the smaller versions at the bottom of this photo.
It looks like there is a lanyard ring at the bottom; is this correct?
If so I've never seen this before but I'm not an experienced Ruger collector.

It is a lanyard ring. You can get them from Hogue, they just replace the screw that holds the Hogue grip on.
