500 Linebaugh Maximum; 50 BP; 50-90 Sharps
Cool, but that last one is too worrisome for me.
Beautiful! What wood is that, if I may ask?460 gr hardcasts seem to shoot through 15-16 gallon jugs of water with 9-10 of the first jugs ripping open with cavitation. I’m sending these out at 1011fps from my 4.6” barrel and could get another 200-250fps but it isn’t needed. I’ve yet to recover a projectile on game animals. It carries nicely in my chest harness for hunting. I designed the bullet mold, cast and load for it, modified and bedded the red dot base, and made the grips. My friend made my holster rig for it which I could have done too but we were having a baby about the time I needed the rig done so I was glad to send him some business and not have the project; he did a great job with it too. This is my favorite hunting gun.

And my preferred method for carry in the woods, brought to me by Cache River Leather…

Man, THAT is a gorgeous gun! I'd love to own one like that sometime.I was fortunate enough to pick this John Gallagher custom in 45 Colt. She is slicker than snot. Hopefully, I can get to the range and take her for a spin.View attachment 107647

Well eventually you'll need a meal and to wipe the drool off your chin from staring at it. When that day comes, I'd suggest putting it down in a box with my address on it.Thank you! I can't put it down. Lol
