I've got my name on one at Sports South and Lipsey's, which ever one comes first. I'm still waiting on 9mm carbines to become available. I need 4 of these for myself and my LE clients. I've got at least 1000 rounds of 10mm loaded with cast bullets that functioned in my Gen 3 M20, but won't function in my Gen 4 M20. They'll be just right for the GP-100. BTW, the Ruger SKU for the moon clips for the 10mm GP is 90661. None of the distributors have any in stock yet. That's one of the reasons I don't go to SHOT or the NRA Convention. I gave up looking at items you can't get. Bob!! :)

I have the 357 mag Match Champion version with adjustable rear sight. If they made this in 41 mag with 6 shot capacity and a 5-6 inch barrel I would buy

Ruger sure could make a 5 shot GP100 41 mag , if they wanted to !! I have a Taurus Tracker in 41 mag and with 16.5/2400/195 CSW is a good shooting little gun. With that in mind the Ruger GP100 is an infinitely stronger frame than the Tracker so definitely doable to make one in 41 mag.

I've not been able to find any at my distributors. The stippled Hogue wooden grips can be replaced by any other GP-100 grip. Bob!

I saw that one too and wondered if they were building up an order list ?
Update -- as of last night there were several advertised on GB but most of them were high 7's , list price I guess?
I am sure the street price will come down after the initial rush of orders.
While I would like to have one 800 , final price, is a little more than I want to pay.

Easy rule of thumb with new Rugers is that street price is typically 75-80% of MSRP.

So for an MSRP of $969, expect $726-$775.

Well, my 10mm Match Champion arrived Tuesday. There were no surprises. The DA, while not perfect, is usable and easy to stage. The barrel is on straight, as are the sights. I had surgery on my left foot 3 weeks ago, so it'll be a while before I get a chance to shoot it. I carried a revolver(always a K frame Smith Magnum)for 15 years of my LE career and would carry this one in a heartbeat. The fact that we can buy this 10mm revolver from the factory tells me that Ruger does listen to its customers. My dream gun would be the same thing in 41 Magnum or Special. Bob!! :D

The advantage with 10mm in a DA revolver is fast reloads with full moon clips. That said, I still like the idea of a GP100 in 41 mag/41 Spl better and 3" - 4" in stainless is my preference.

I love the 3" GP100 in 44 Spl, but a 5-shot in 41 mag would be sweeter still. If a 6 shot 41 mag is doable, then fine, but I'm good with it in 5-shot too.

I recently picked up the 5-shot 44 mag S&W 69 made on their L-frame gun. I don't see why Ruger couldn't do the same in 44 mag and 41 mag on their GP100 frame.

Somehow I don't see Ruger or Davidson's (all TALO distributors) adding a false entry into their database just to see how people will react to it.

Good point CraigC.

I read lots of support for the WC 3" GP100s. Wondering how much that translates to 10MM. I like the 4.2" GP100 Match Champion 357 and also a SP101 4.2" 357. Interested to see the 10MM Match Champion.

Would make an interesting carry option with the compact grips. I'm holding out for something longer than the MC and preferably blued.
