I have an old model 357 Blackhawk that is in very poor shape. I bought it at a steal. I plan a a new Wells grip frame, Anne’s erh and refinish at least. I have a couple of clean new model takeoff barrels and wondered if the threads would match?
In that case, what G2 said. As .45 are available, I would go with the .41 special! Just an opinion from a .41 lover!!!Thank you JOEY. I considering a 45 conversion. Or possibly a .41 special.
The only real problem with a .41 Special IN MY OPINION is the readily availability of brass is not there. Special orders, or cutting good .41 Mag brass are the options.
