I'm sure they are squirting out all the injection moulded guns they can, as fast as they can at the present time! I'll never understand WHY they did a 4 inch SP101 in 357, when a 327 would have been a much more logical choice!

The 32H&R shoot fantistic out of the SP101 I have. I load them to just above 32SWL velocities with a 100gr lswc. At self defence distances there is no real POI change in any of the loads. She can't practice with full house loads because of arthritis in her hands, but carries full house rounds...

May I ask what state you carry the GP? Tennessee! I know it may be apples and oranges, but my 100gr lead cast load smacks down steel poppers just as hard as any 9mm at the range! I have always loved the 32s and the 327 is the the cream of the bore for self defence. :)

There may have been some problems in the early SP101s, but I have one that is great! Accurate, good smooth triger and the only time it ever has an extraction problem is when I have fired several cylinders of 32HR mags and fouls the cylinder further back in the chamber.
