Anybody watching? It’s pretty good. Took me a couple try’s to get through the first episode. Then it had me hooked. 2nd season is pretty intense.

I watched the first season. We moved and I cut the cable cord, nave not figured out how to get the Paramount network via streaming service.

I can watch season 1, but not #2. I guess in a couple of months it will be available.

Good show.

I don’t remember Dynasty that well. Yellowstone is more of a cowboy and Indians show. Lots of action plenty of violence and a little nudity. It’s worth my time. Even if just for the beautiful horses and scenery.

We watch it.
Miss Penny was a SERIOUS "Dallas" fan way back when,, while I wasn't.
But we both like Kevin Costner, so we started watching it. And my comments to her after about 1/2 way through the 1st season were; "Well, we have a western version of Dallas,, with more serious violence."
But they do have some odd twists thrown in to make it ENTERTAINMENT. I thought the grizzly scene in season one was interesting. That & the asian tourists part was off beat. But I do like the guy who plays "Rip" in it. And from what I've read,, he's a serious gun guy & hunter.
And heck,, a recent hunting scene was more realistic than MOST of the TV portrayals of it we normally see. It was in the fall, and the kid was given serious life instructions, as well as a few other things.
So I approach it as it should be,, Hollyweird entertainment.

Not worth my time. Inflexible patriarch, spoiled druggy daughter, prodigal son, etc. Dallas anyone? That plot was lousy the first time around.

I somehow muddled through the first season but including all the above, it was just too hard to follow with who's doing what to who. I guess I stuck with it for the pretty druggy daughter. I've got season two up to episode 7 recorded, but still haven't convinced myself to watch it.

Hi...
My wife and I watch this show.
It is interesting but quite violent.

Last episode there was a particularly violent murder and rape scene that was difficult to watch.

As violent as the first season and a half has been, it's pretty obvious that there is more and worse to come.

Just ran into three of the crew from Yellowstone at one of my LGS's. All looking to buy shotguns and wanting to know what their "Yellowstone" discount was. Clerk told them everything was already marked down and at sale prices. Typical Hollywood elitism and entitlement. They all three thought themselves to good to talk to anyone.

I agree, it is entertainment and may not be for all. Being married to a complete idiot, he admits it, he has a warped sense of humor. He thought Dutton did the wrong thing firing a gun to chase off the Asian tourists up close to the grizzly. Kenneth would have said Mr. Grizzly, an all you eat Asian buffet so chow down! Of course the only real loser would have been the bear for merely being a bear in ITS environment and home.
