Thousands descend on Cocoa Beach for Surfing Santas

quote> Surfing Santas as far as you can see. More than 6,000 people showed up to watch hundreds of surfing Santas take to the waves in Cocoa Beach on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 during the seventh annual Surfing Santas event. <end quote

It's a beautiful new day in Dallas that's for sure.

I always wanted to learn how to surf, but growing up in Missouri made that sort of difficult.

Merry Christmas all you Floridians, and everyone else too!

I worked up a sweat on Christmas day playing croquet in the backyard with family. (83 degrees)
I don't know what you 'all think about global warming but...
South Florida has been about 10 degrees above normal everyday for the last two months. :D

Hi,

On that global warming thing, Jimbo, methinks you're stealing some of it from us! ;)

My little part of sunny SoCal had worked its way up to 40 deg an hour ago... we got some rain last night and there was talk we might see snow, but that didn't happen. Though we do get a bit of snow in my neighborhood, once or twice a year, nobody remembers a white Christmas here. I think someone still owes us another ice age from back in the '70s, so maybe next year?

Warm, medium or cold, Merry Christmas to all!

Christmas day at Fort Lauderdale in 1955 was 85F. Global warming got off to a slow start apparently.

Instead of focusing on temperature records, one day here or one day there, folks should be looking at long term trends for insight into global warming. Warmest years on record and how much above or below normal would be a good start. Perspective is the name of the game when talking about global anything. :D

Hey gang; I didn't post this to start a war. Lets keep it friendly. :D :D
Well . . . . . . some people will argue about the sun coming up (or not).

Since we made it past Christmas, they can't play grinch.

:D

This morning it was 12 degrees with almost three inches of new snow.
PERFECT for my new snow thrower (electric, for small amounts of snow).
Took fifteen minutes to do the driveway.
HAPPY Camper! :D

Just remember the gas and oil companies are losing money big time due to the warmer rust-belt weather. Look for price increases to dry their tears if it keeps up!
