Here in Maine winter has been a doosie tons of snow and cold, so much so the
State of Maine has extended Ice Fishing season! we will get another month of
hard water fishing. Should be fun the sun is getting stronger should feel pretty
good on the ice! Make sure your ice augers are sharp about 30 of ice out there. ps

Yes 30" guesstimate late March is when it's the thickest been freezing since late
Nov. Some years back in Pittsburg NH we needed extensions on the ice auger to
get thru. Winnipasaukee in Central NH we heard something on the ice coming in
the distance could not tell what it was, after some time it got close and closer. Some guy had a camp on an island and was driving a bulldoser over to his camp. Was gonna do some work there in the coming summer. Ice is strong derby time there are buses motorhomes all kinda of campers you name it looks like a city out there. Almost
like a carnival its fun. ps
