How rare are the stainless 4 5/8" .357/9mm Blackhawks that are/were offered from Williams Shooting Supply? I have been looking for one for a while. Also, is it built on a large Blackhawk frame or the smaller frame like the Old Model Blackhawks? Any information would be appreciated!

they are built on the large frame. I would think they are somewhat uncommon, but as they are a distributor exclusive with Williams right now I would have a dealer check inventory on them at Williams, or you could probably call Williams direct to see if they have any left. If they do just have your dealer order one. Its a nice convertible package with the short barrel--I like them!

Someone (Lipsey's?) needs to have them made on the mid-frame flat-top!

This is what I am waiting for, maybe I should I say praying for. I want one to match my .45 acp/LC flattop.

I called Williams about 6 months ago and was told they have no plans on stopping this pistol. So it is sort of rare because not directly from the factory but not really super rare if you know what I mean. I do like mine though. I got the short barreled unit.
