Will Ruger refinish a SRH

In their hunter gray finish that has been altered and if so, how much is the damage?

Target Gray was discontinued because they can't refinish a revolver in Target Gray. It was a finish that was the accidental result of their tumbling process. I really like it to be honest.

far as we know and have heard, the target gray is no longer available, and yes, was a "proprietary" finish they ( Ruger) offered we've had to buff 'em, polish 'em, or matte 'em.......it all works 8) :roll: :wink:

The target gray finish looks good when it's new, but the new look doesn't last long if the gun gets used any. If I wanted that look on a gun I was gonna use a lot, I'd be tempted to get it glass beaded and cerakoted.

Manganese phosphate gives a light gray parkerized finish - but not on stainless steel!
