Why do Single Sixes shoot so poorly with 22 LR ammo?

That sight is a military rifle sight, I believe it was a south american Mauser rifle sight. The owner had a local gunsmith build a front sight and regulate the rear sight for the ranges he was shooting at.

5 shots is enough out of that gun!

Nice revolver! Just got a Single Six Hunter myself. It needs a 30oz Wolff trigger spring, but it shoots pretty good as is. I have a Bushnell Elite 2x-6x on mine, and it will shoot 0.5" groups at 25yds with 22LR. Also shot a 5-shot 0.5" group with the 22WMR cylinder but the 6th shot opened the group to 0.9".

Nice looking piece, JayHawkHC. I've been thinking I need to get a hunter model Single Six before they decide to quit making them.
