White Castle?

I’ve only been to a White Castle once or twice. Isn’t there some other fast food place in the south with little tiny hamburgers?

I have also tried the frozen boxed White Castle. I’m not sure how you are supposed to cook them. But it seems the bread is thawed out and hot while the inside is still just cold and starting to get warm.

Are they for the microwave or toaster oven? I tried one box, couldn’t figure it out and didn’t bother after that.

Follow the microwave instructions on the box. One minute and done. No pickles in the frozen ones. They get too hot in microwave. We, in AZ, had one open a year or so ago. Lines were insanely long. Use to go to WC in Brooklyn, NY in the 60's. They were 8 cents each. Great a day or so before pay day.

Never been to one, and probably never will, as they applied to put a couple stores up in the Boise area, but doubt they'll be built before I move back to Alaska, where there are none.

Every once in a while I start Jonesing for some sliders. My favorite are a couple of WC double cheeseburgers. Back when I was married, my wife decided to put us on a heath kick, not eating "red meat". I told her once I stopped for a couple of sliders for lunch. I remember her saying "You can't eat red meat!" I responded "That's not red meat, that's Grey meat!"

I have been to White Castle one time, it was in Columbus Ohio. I didn’t like their burgers, and they resembled breakfast biscuits.
