Sure we do. You just need to be in the right part of SoCal. As a kid we spent most Christmas' at our cabin in Big Bear. Always a white Christmas there. We don't get them here in southern CA. I miss seeing snow!
Spent a week in Sioux Falls one day, on my way back to Rapid City.Out here on the Great Plains, we will have one. It has snowed several times recently, about a half inch at a time so we have about an inch and a half to maybe 2 inches on the ground. As per usual, the wind blows constantly, making it difficult to spend much time outdoors, but it is white and bright.
Well wishes coming from South Dakota to everyone here, even those who just have to argue about dern near anything.![]()
We have green grass and rain here in Southwestern Idaho. No snow in the forecast. We have snow in the mountains. It snowed 7-8" of light fluffy stuff yesterday when the high was 18. I got out and carefully plowed, trying not to tear up the driveway which still hasn't frozen up (it was in the 40s and rainy last week).
Temp this morning when I got up was 2. I don't see how we won't have a white Christmas.

That's the forecast for my son's place 1.5 hours north and up a bit in elevation, where we will be for Christmas. Temps here are generally 3-5 degrees warmer here (for example, it is -2 up there now and +3 here).
