There are several threads here about various foods the members of the forum like to make and eat. It is only appropriate during this time of the year. In addition there are desserts after we consume all those various kinds of foods. So what are your favorite desserts anytime of the year?
I only have pumpkin pie, no whip cream with a cup of coffee and Kahlua, again, no whip cream once a year. There used to be a commercially frozen custard-pumpkin pie, but they changed their recipe, dropped the custard and lied that the custard was still in there, but they lied!
Cream pies: When I first started working at Fitzgeralds Casino, the deli used to have a delicious pineapple cream pie. I also like chocolate cream.
I really miss that Marie Callendar's left Reno many years ago, but I go to the one in L.A. when I visit my original home town. They have a Kahlua cream that is awesome.
Speaking of Kahlua, my favorite liqueur, I like to pour over vanilla ice cream when not having White Russians.
As for ice cream: Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Ice cream is my favorite.
So, what is/are your favorite dessert(s)?
