I spent some time on my air rifle range of course! :D

Our range is closed for the month due to its proximity to the Trout stream,( members like to fish also). So I pass the time with this...

It is a true test of ones resolve, but I endeavor to persevere...

Since I have 'paid my dues' when working, and am now retired (for the third time), I now have the opportunity to do what many do naturally...be lazy...intentionally. If I now find myself sweating I have to get up and move the lawn chair out of the sun. :)

"I had to work."

Me, too. Always plenty to do. Fence to tighten up, water gaps to fix. equipment maintenance--all that stuff to get ready before summer.
Got 1/4 mile of fence built for Tom but waiting for drier ground to do the same here. I'm old and slower than I once was so that takes a week rather than 2 days.
Cattle are coming this weekend or middle of next week so things have to be ready. Just remembered I have to replace an electric fence charger on 1/4 mile of "yard" fence that keeps the cows from messing with our drain outlets.

Warm day here with on and off rain. Haircut, nap, lunch of BBQ, going to gun range in a little bit. Not a bad life. :D

Got the yard work pretty much done for now.

Well - every third Thursday morning (and it doesn't have to be sunny, of course) I run the skeet field at the club. It's a fine way to spend a sunny morning.

Now that the weather has broken, most every day I'm out on Geraldine:

We've got a 100 years on us, between us, and she's one bad-ass bike.

It's also time to get on the water:

Lovely day - #1 Daughter back from Montana, JAX (past foster charge), Tucker, and yours truly.

Just after this photo was taken there was an abrupt wind shift accompanied by a, umm, significant increase in speed. No photo of that! As soon as we could duck into a bit of shelter we took the headsail off. The joys of lake sailing!
