Did they make 4" Redhawks 34 years ago?

Nope---I am pretty sure the first ones out the door in 1980 were 7.5 & 9.5 because I wanted one in the worst way. A few years later when the Super Redhawk Hunter came along, I foolishly sold my first one to buy one with rings.

You may have me on that, I am not positive (the memory is the first to go after all). But I was 16 when I was introduced to Elmer Keith and his love of the .44. The rest is history. I have owned other .44s, but none has the appeal for me like the Redhawk.
