SP101 #15702A- does this exist??

Hello all,
I am in the market for an SP101 with a 2.25” barrel, and really love the blued look, #15702.
Unfortunately, I’m in California, and the only option I’m finding that’s compliant here is the SS version. This one still looks great though, so I won’t be too upset if I end up getting it instead.

However, the DOJ site lists item number 15702A as legal. When I reached out to them, they said that this new version is all that they make now, and that it is denoted with an ‘A’ on the box.
Has anyone seen one of these?? My LGS says they can’t find them from their distributor, and I can’t find them anywhere online.

If I were you I’d contact Ruger too.

Thank you. I may try talking to Ruger more to find out where these approved ones are being distributed. It’s strange that they seem so hard to find

I could never find the blued version here in CA, but I got a used stainless model and love it
