WC 820 Load for 41 mag>Cast?

:arrow: Hey Guy's, Does anyone know a starting point for a 215 gr LSWC bullet for a 41 mag? How does WC820 meter thru you're Dillon powder measure? Thanks BhK :mrgreen:

Well, its just about a twin to H110 so you could try the starting load for that, probably want a mag primer to light it.

I have two lots of wc820. Wish I had a ton of it. One lot follows 2400 the other follows AA 9. This is grain for grain, bullet, gun etc. shot over the chrono.

Well, not .41, but I have loaded a lot of WC820 for .44 Mag. The lot I have is noted to be 10% faster than H110, so I used staring loads 10% lower than H110. Has worked quite well in all my .44s and meters like water through my Lee PPM, C-H 502, and Pacific Pistol Powder Measure...

Update: I picked up a jug of WC820 at Pat's Reloading while at Camp Perry. The lot No. I got is like mikid has. It's 10% faster than H110, so I'll reduce the load by 10% and start from there. I have an old Lyman manual and a newer one. Lymanload has 18.6/H110 and a 210 gr JHP. Hmmm, experiment. BhK

Who makes WC 820? It is not in my edition of Handloaders Propellant Profiles.
