SOLD Wanted 256 Winchester ammo

I am looking for 256 Winchester ammo for shooting not collecting.
I found a company , REEDS ammo in Oklahoma. Has anyone had dealings with them?
Also VENTURA Munitions in Las Vegas.
Any other advice is appreciated

Reeds brass did not hold up to reloading for me

Do you reload?

If so,, you can re-form .357 Mag brass to be used in a .256 Win. It's best done with forming dies,,, and then annealing the brass to keep it from splitting too quickly.
I know,, I shoot a Hawkeye,, and I found the form dies, and made an annealer just for it. Later on, I found a commercial annealer for a very fair price.

If you don't reload,, it can be a LOT harder to get ammo.

Get some brass,, (not nickle plated) .357 mag. Send it to me, and I'll form them & anneal them for you.

IIRC from when I had a Hawkeye, You can use 22 jet to form 256 Win Mag. It will be slightly short, but work fine.

I use 360 Dan Wesson brass to ensure it will be long enough to trim and have a distinct headstamp. Let me know if you're interested, I've got quite a bit of excess.

Bite the bullet (pun intended) and buy a couple of boxes of factory loaded ammo or brass and you have correctly sized brass with the proper head stamp.
