A few weeks ago, I was in my LGS picking up a Model 13 I had on layaway. I was telling my wife that "This will be the last one for a while. I can't even think of anything I want anymore, except an international 10/22." She gave me that "I've heard that before" look.

So...while I waited for the background check, I walked back to the mens room. Might as well swing by the "22 rack." Good...nothing interesting here...Oh wait...what's that. :wow: A 10/22 International. :whistling: Oh well. Back to the layaway bin.

Got it out yesterday.

I did take it down the hill out back and put 30-40 rounds through it. It jammed about once a magazine, so I took it back to the house and cleaned several years worth of concrete like gunk out of the action, and oiled it up good. I'll try to get it back out again soon.

Nice .22 you got there!
I'd like to have an International 10-22 aswell. Some were for sale on this site. They ranged from stainless&walnut to blue&walnut, laminate&walnut and laminate&stainless. I passed on them because I couldn't make up my mind!

I took it down the hill behind the house and shot 30-40 rounds through it to make sure it worked the other day. It jammed about once per magazine, so I took it back to the house and cleaned it good and oiled it. I know, I should have done that first, but I didn't. It was pretty dirty so that should take care of the problem.

I keep a gallon milk jug in the creek bottom to use for a casual target. I had it jumping around so it seems to shoot where it's pointed. I've got to get a scope mount for it and get a scope on it before I'll worry about shooting it again.

I picked up a Ruger [68] vintage 10/22 International a couple of years ago. A friend bought it new for $80.00 bucks. Turned out he hated guns so I picked it up from him for $225.00! Not a ding, smudge, scratch, nothing! Got a rifle case and a scope with the deal. Pre-warning as well. Walnut stock, aluminum trigger guard etc. I have'nt told him what it's worth!! I love the rifle soooooo much!!

Nice guns all.
I think the green laminated guns are very nice as well. Solid $300-350 guns and maybe more if ANIB (non-fired, etc). Not into "collector value (read: afraid to touch/shoot 'em), but the recent RSI 10/22's may well be even better values all with the variants available.

For all the walmart slamming around here some guys sure do covet their guns!
