vaqueros

[two bit okie]

Of late I have noticed more and more questions about vaqueros. I have four of them. Please notice that there are modifications to all 4. same mods but all are modified.

All 4 have square back dragoon grip frames. for those who want to change grip frames, mechanically all it takes is removing 5 screws. *****NOTE THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE FITTING AND TRUING UP THE EDGES*******!!!! replacing the gripframe with what ever you like.

all 4 guns have superblackhawk hammers. straight up swap. remove the gripframe pin the mainspring remove the old hammer. (I have 4 stock hammers for sale if anyone is interested), put in the new one.

All 4 have steel ejecter rod housing, (I dont really see the benefit, but what the heck.).

I have big mitts, I like the larger grip (all four guns are 44 mag), I dont expect every one to agree with me, but the new vaqueros just dont pack the gear for MY interest. and yes, I did shoot cowboy with all four guns.

...so that's where all the Super hammers are. I've been waiting and waiting and waiting...and still waiting for some to come available.

Looks great to me. I like the Super frame. I just traded off two 44 Mag Vaquros. Still have one and five 45 Colts, two 32 H&R Mags, and two Babby Vequeros in 22LR. I do have a New Vaquero in 45 Colt just havn't matched it up yet. I like pairs also.
