I bought a new Hunter 2 or 3 years ago ad never used it. I just picked up a Charger and decided I would use it and time to let the Hunter go. NIB what should I ask for it? Thank you.

Hunter is a far superior firearm to the charger.

That being said, I got a good deal on mine

Looks like they have gone up in value a bit... here is one for $555 on gunbroker, and its still in bidding.

Another one for $795

Another for over $600

I dont get it, I think I paid under $425 for mine including tax?

A Mark III hunter has a MSRP of $679. You should be able to get one for $550 or so. People on GB are nuts! Wait till the craziness ends and prices will calm down.

I must have gotten a really good deal... I got mine at Walmart a few years back and love it. I would NEVER trade it in for a Charger, thats just silly.

I would never give up my MK III Hunter 4.5 inch for a Charger!

Anyhow, the price you get will depend on barrel length.
Ruger discontinued the 4.5 inch version a few years ago, and they tend to command $600 plus used.
I only paid $350 for mine and would not sell it for $600.

Me neither! I looked high and low for the Hunter Model with the 4-1/2 inch barrel. Finally found one after they went out of production. I then wanted and ordered a Burris Fast Fire III for it. Couldn't find a base I liked that would let me keep the irons in place. So, I made one. :D

With the FF3 off, and sights available.

I was just at Fin, Feather, and Fur last Friday. They had the all stainless Mark III Hunter in stock with the 6 7/8" barrel for their everyday price of $569.
