Users' Ranks

Is there a thread somewhere that defines "how" users are ranked? i.e. Hunter, Buckeye, Single-Sixer, etc. tks.................jack

Not a thread that I can recall, but in general, for many it's based upon post count. But, we don't worry about post count around here as it doesn't mean much, just a way of letting folks see how chatty you are, (or how long you've been around!)

I don't know that there is a 'ranking list' anywhere but click on the "members" tab and you can get an idea from the post count on the members listed. I don't even know if that will help as I see one member with over 13,000 posts and is ranked as a "Hawkeye" while another has just over 8,000 and is a "Ruger Guru" but it is a start.

It is based on post numbers. It is just a standard formula created by the software.


Admin can make special "tater gun" profiles if they desire. I do it on another forum I mod. One guy fell out of his treestand he is now a "treeestand specialist" while another is height deficient himself, but picks on shortp people. He is the "Oompah Loompa King.

So many sarcastic replies going so many directions. It's more than my poor plumbing can handle.

How about since the majority here are men, it's just the application of the principle that a man only hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest?

Many members have had their post counts reduced by thousands and thousands due to "cleaning".

Post counts really don't reflect much nor mean much.

Content of one's posts is far more significant.
