I have made a deal by internet for three Ruger boxes. One is for an old model Super Blackhawk, one for a Mk.1 pistol and one is an unmarked box. Question is regarding the unmarked box. I have no photos yet and will post them when I receive them. Were there many Ruger boxes which had no model information on the ends? David

Oh oh! I do see a post down the page a bit which addresses uncatalogued boxes for early flat-tops. Are they the only ones?

Not necessarily.
Later produced yellow & black boxes often came w/o labels etc. Some where the label was put on the shipper, and others, were for shipping the safety conversions back & forth.
BUT,,, if it's a 2 piece cardboard type, and is for a specific gun, such as a "Blackhawk" then it's likely to be a good one for you.
