I just noticed that you get to pet the same end of your dog that I get to pet on mine.

Actually, the Lady in the picture is my late Mom.
But you are correct, George mostly wants that end petted/scratched. I think he may have been mistreated as a pup before he came to live here, he really avoids eye contact. One would be hard pressed to find a more gentle soul or a friendlier guy than him.
