This is about half of the crew that roams through our yard on Cape Cod. They don't seem too afraid of people either. They are about 15 feet away from the camera when this was taken, and in no particular hurry to move on.

Yep, I have a hen with around 10 chicks that wander through from time to time. Thanks for sharing.

When my kids were young we were walking in the woods, we saw a hen with chicks and my daughter thought they looked like ET from the movie.

We saw some in down town Spokane Valley a couple of days ago.

Turkeys are like skeeters up here, way too many. They get into the garden and crap everywhere.
When they come around I turn Buster loose, brown chocolate lab about 95 lbs.
Not a mean bone in his body but loves to run em off lol. ps
