I have finished some projects. Some of these guns have been shown here before, but not with these latest modifications. Photo #1: SBH Dragoon triggerguard converted to round guard.

Photo #2: Holly grips on S&W M624 and M24 44 SPLs. Cow bone grips on Colt Gov't Model 45 auto. Sweetgum heart grips on nickel S&W Heavy Duty converted to 44 SPL.

Photo #3: Walnut burl grips on flat-topped OM 44 SPL conversion by Alan Harton. Standard Blackhawk hammer and mesquite burl grips on New Vaquero 45.

Phot #4: New Vaquero 45 with standard Blackhawk hammer and pyrographed yaupon grips. I know this one is a little too much for most tastes, especially on a gun with chicken scratching; probably would look better on a plain blued or stainless gun. I do not know if this is a completely original idea or not, but I have never heard of grips being made of yaupon wood, or grips being pyrographed (woodburing).
