Well the Rodent wins again, saw his shadow. So for all you good people to the south, you have another six weeks of winter to endure.
For all of us who tough it out in the north, we only have six weeks more till spring comes.

Not to put a wrinkle in the bedspread but Statin Island Chuck, the Groundhog that once bit Mayor Bloomberg on the finger, has said it is going to be an early spring. :mrgreen:

Just shows how those Yankee weathermen/women vary their predictions. One says one thing and the other one says just the opposite. :roll:
I use a little donkey with a rope tail. If he is shiny the sun is shining, If he is dark colored it is cloudy. If the tail is wet it is raining. If it is stiff it is freezing. If the tail is flapping around then it is windy. Works every time.

Strictly speaking it's 6 weeks from February 2 to the Vernal Equinox so officially that's 6 more weeks of winter irregardless of what Phil says.
Years ago I read one of my mother's women's magazines that:
"Buying your kid a sled for Christmas will sweep every snowflake from the sky for the next six weeks."
I have 3 Flexible Flyers, so far here in Central NJ we have 2 dustings and a couple of false alarms.
