I have a buddy who is quite the fisherman. He gets a lot of fresh fish, snapper, Mahi and other pelagics. However, he too loves the Mc Donalds fish sandwich. Yes, I like them too.Gotta go with Walleye and Trout, both pan fried preferably over an open fire.
Next would be a McDonalds Fish sandwich. They are delicious

What are your favorite fish. To eat that is...
Kodiak several years ago. hit our limit of 2 kings and 10 silvers daily by noon.Pacific Salmon, specifically silvers. Also Steelhead, and other trout. Oh, almost forgot Parrot fish.
Only fish I know of that provides less nutrients than it takes to gather & clean. Definition of a garbage fish. Folks that don't like the fishy taste of fish should eat Pollack. Better for you, and even Gordon's Parmesan Breaded frozen fish sticks have a better taste. JMHO YMMV.Ah, Tilapia. MIL lived on a 20-40 acre lake in Fl. FIL & I watched a couple guys netting the heck out of some kind of fish. We motered out there & found out they were Tilapia, a boat full. Long story short, we wound up with enough fresh fish to feed the 8 or so family members at the house that day. I filleted & MIL knew exactly how to cook them. They were very good with all present in agreement.
Fast forward to back home in Ky & realized the Tilapia at the grocer was sewer ditch raised in Thailand or Cambodia. Asked the wife not to bring any more of it in.
