I need 50 rounds of 308 Win. NM brass for loading 50 gr Lapua bullets for thinning out some critters that are going after both Grouse and Quail eggs and their chicks on our property. I will pay what one needs for both the cost and shipping, Respectfully, Gary Thompson.

That is brass I have loaded in the past with the same bullets and BR primers. I use this in my model 700 sps 308 rifle with a mark 4 3-10 L scope because it does the job. I was just hoping that there might be some out there that I could buy. Thanks, Gary.

Being an experienced reloader for over 45 years and considering the type of light load you are building, It's my serious opinion that whatever brass you used will make no difference whatsoever. Most NM ammo that I have used in my Springfield NM M1A is LC manufactured and you'll be paying a premium for it if you can find it. You might try Gunbroker for once fired NM brass if you have to have it.

Hi,

I dunno if this is accurate, but I've seen posts on other forums claim that NM brass is simply standard LC brass without the crimp. If so, LC's easy enough to find. And if the critters deserve better than that, Hornady, Norma and Lapua are also readily available, if one's willing to pay the extra tariff...

Curiosity being what it is, what kind of egg sucking varmints need a .308 to take 'em down? :)

Just coyotes and wild dogs at about 150 to 200 yards. You are right about the L.C. brass and it will be my next buy. Thanks for the info.
