In the music threat about "what are you listening to?" I noticed quite a few blues lovers. As everyone knows, we are a group with exceptionally good taste. Everybody knows about John Lee Hooker, Howlin' Wolf, Elmore James, Eric Clapton, and so on. Anyhow, it would be interesting to share some lesser known blues players.

I'll toss these out....
Corey Stevens
a band from long ago - The Lamont Cranston Band

Love me some 3 string cigar box guitar. :D

The British Invasion of the late 60's and forward owes a lot to the American Blues players. :D

My alltime favorite blues are on ZZ Top's first two albums. So many wonderful variations of the basic 12-bar theme! My favorite might be Brown Sugar.

Serendipity !!!! Someone I have to add to my collection.

Jimi Hendrix was a blues grandmaster. Voodoo Chile is a magnum opus.

How about some Mempis Minnie played by one of my all time favorites...Todd Park Mohr...aka , Big Head Todd and the Monsters.

Check this out and I guarantee you'll be looking up more Big Head Todd material! And if you're a youtuber I HIGHLY recommend the live at Redrocks show from 2008.

Anyone here like Beethoven, Chopin, Vivaldi, Richard and Johann Straus. I guess there has to be an oddball in every group.
