Oh yeah, good music and a little sippin time, hard to beat that.
I made it to the Memphis Blues Festival one year during a learning trip thru NAHB. Everyone who loves the blues should make the trip if at all possible. Unbelievable music, food, fellowship. Like nowhere else.
When I live I am blessed with having the #1 Jazz & Blues station in the country a few scant miles away. Being broadcast from a local university it started in the 80's with a pretty low power signal. But I've always gotten a really good signal since there isn't a thing between my house and their broadcast antenna. Sometime in the early 2000's they dramatically increased power and no I can get it all the way down to Oceanside.
Jazz and blues - man, out here in cowboy country (well, at least farm hat country), real blues can be hard to find. But can be really rewarding when found.
