My tastes have certainly changed. For half my life I would wear nothing but jeans. Then the job provided pants, not even sure what you call them, but they are lightweight mechanics pants.
Today I prefer those uniform pants by far. I’ll wear jeans if I’m dressed up and know I won’t be doing anything. They are too hot, heavy, hold sweat, and if I’m honest don’t fit that well for moving around.
Is this an aging thing? Or is it choosing utility over fashion? I’ve recently had to drop a size in clothes, the brand new jeans just reinforced my thinking on jeans
