"Billy the Kid: Showdown in Lincoln County." I caught part of this movie today on the THIS TV channel. About the worst movie I've ever seen, including that one with John Wane as that Manchurian. Acting was terrible, dialog laughable. A line was spoken, then silence for a few seconds before the reply. Guns used some had Remington cap-and-ball replicas, others had Ruger Vaqueros. In one scene the one eyed woman fires a Remington and the loading lever flops down a la Colt Walker.

This is a western; filming location Augusta, Ga. and the Carolinas. NO PART of the Southeast looks like New Mexico!

Everybody gets shot at least once in the shoot-out, and blood is splashed and dribbled.

Even a Three Stooges western was better!

Can’t be as bad as Curse of the Undead. Michael Pate was a great actor who performed in a lot of very good movies. But playing a vampire gunslinger in the old west wasn’t one of them.

Yep, only fought after sundown and was slow as molasses. But always won.

If "Curse Of The Undead" even had a modicum of acting talent, it was a better movie.

And let's not forget the 'Heaven's Gate" disaster. Cimino single-handedly bankrupted United Artists with that stinker.

If you ever thought that Italian westerns could be bad, try watching a Polish/Czech western!!
Dead Man's Bounty", was one of the worst movies period!!

Dang I'm going to have to check it out.... Augusta GA is where I was born and raised about 12 miles east of there in S.C.

Sounds like Bob is spot on... rating for the movie in question are a 1.5 out of 10.

Not good.

I tried watching that billy the Kid movie.
It was pretty stupid. It didn't take long to change the channel.
Another western I put in the same category was the remake of True Grit.
That movie really sucked.

Another negative thread. How about closing this thread and making a Best Western movie. One might get more responses...
