My friend has a 1969 contender and wants to buy a 22 lr barrel ,anyone know what barrel will fit or do they all interchange? Thanks

It will accept most Contender barrels, except for;
ArmorAlloy (coated) barrels
Encore barrels

IF you can find an Armour Alloy barrel cheap enough you can have the AA removed on the lug and rear portion of the bbl and it will fit.

Had an Armor Alloy TC once. Most inaccurate piece I ever owned. Ruined me for ever wanting to own anything from that company again. However, I seem to be the exception as I know many who have had great luck with their products.

Not for the thread. At the time I owned that frame/barrel combination, the factory fitted Armor Alloy barrels to your frame or fitted regular barrels to your Armor Alloy frames. Just make sure the frame's main pin hole is the proper specification.
