Here she is.... Last tale was that 30 guns from the 1000 piece TALO Stainless Flattop 44 Special run got mismarked with a NV prefix (510) instead of the expected 520. Ruger added a T so they would know what they were and here we are...

Turned out to be the old blind hog finding an acorn thing for me... The guys here on the forum turned over the rock and shared the info last week but I had already bought this one oblivous the the serial number oddity.... Sure I knew it was a little different but....

Now the hunt is on for it's mate??? . . . . . . Will be interesting to see who can pair em up. Round-em-up Boys. :D

They are nice looking.

For a gun that is part of a 1000 gun run we're being kind of snooty about this T510 serial number aren't we? I committed to my third Stainless FT 44 Special yesterday.. T510 prefix or not.. It is mine.. I'll know the serial number today.. Actually I NEED it to trade for the 520 prefix gun that is consecutive to my 520 prefix Stainless FT 44... Watch it be a T510 and consecutive to my T510..

So, americal... Ole Buddy... When are we meeting at the Cracker Barrel for some eggs and country ham? I'm figuring the one at the intersection of Drake and South Parkway at about 0730 one Saturday morning.. Will give us time to eat and be at Larry's when he opens at 0900.

If you don't mind me butting in...give me a heads up if you do this as I am "home" a lot lately helping my folks and also have two boys at UAH. I go to Larry's nearly every time. I would like to meet some more Ruger brethren. I don't know if I could make it, but would certainly try...

Without a doubt! Since we are local and you are traveling to get here it might be best if you flag the Saturday's where we have an opportunity...

Sounds good. I may be coming over in the next week or two. I will shoot you a message if I do and maybe we could meet up.
