I got a pile of old guns left to me when my dad died in 1990. shipped them up to AK where many of them have been setting up in my attic of my hangar. I found this lost 44 Sporter, like new in box. complete package. forgot it was up there. damn im getting old.

Contender, I talked to Scott just recently and you definitely nailed it on the old phart, part, but I don’t think he’s senile enough to send 3 of a kind out of his sight. He especially likes one and two digit numbers. 😎

I'm pretty sure the 44 (early third year) I have came from Scott many years ago. It's a shooter without a box. Now, I don't shoot it a lot. But every once in a while someone makes a comment and I'm reminded I have to get it out and let them put a few rounds through it. Of course I have to put a few rounds through it as well.

Mine is a shooter as well; missing blueing, dings in the stock, etc. I walked into a LGS last year, saw it on consignment for $800 offered $700, and walked out with it an hour later. The recoil buffer had come loose so I took off the butt plate, cleaned the long screw, reinstalled it correctly then put a few rounds through it. I still haven’t decided whether to restore it or not.
