No, this was like 2 or 3 times inside the last year or so, chgpt dosent seem to like hitler anymore so supposedly dosent mention him, but i dont use either of them; i can make up funnier, or scarier, than they can, and to some it will be beliveable.I think that was ChatGPT
I guess some took it as a challenge to screw with the bots. No, this was like 2 or 3 times inside the last year or so, chgpt dosent seem to like hitler anymore so supposedly dosent mention him, but i dont use either of them; i can make up funnier, or scarier, than they can, and to some it will be beliveable.
Had bigger fish to fry in that thread. You posted such a flurry of misinformation in this one, it was hard to overlook. I only responded because except that Pietta made .45Colt SAA replicas for Heritage, every other bit of this is wrong, period. No "agree to disagree", it's simply false.Hmmm... on the1/6/26 thread "rough rider 45 colt" mr gyj44 dident bother to land on s4su for saying the rr45 was assembled here from imported parts, tho he was active on the same thread. If i could stop laughing long enough to think like a paranoiac, i could say hes picking on me...
They did not make the .32's or the .410's and I don't know what .44's you're even talking about. Further, the .410 is not an SAA "clone", it's an upsized Rough Rider and even has a ZAMAK frame......but the hrr 32 mag 25 years ago was allegedly a pietta, as were thr 44 mag, 45colt, and 45/410 saa clones they briefly marketed.
What evidence? You made the false claims, the onus is on you to prove them. So far you have provided nothing to support it, just a lot of posturing and deflecting.I dislike people telling me i am wrong, ignore my evidence.....
Ah. So i "posted such a flurry of misinformation" thst you had to respond. All i did was mention that i had come across stories that the steel 22 and 32 hrrs were allegedly a pietta, and you came at me. Now, you are back to saying taffin and bell are wrong, since they both have heritage 45s as being assembled with pietta parts. That means s4su is just as wrong as they are, but i agree with s4su and taffin and bell. But you sure put a lot of energy into something you admit you dont care about (Heritage), and accusing me of not putting up anything, when i referenced taffin and bell writing that hrr assembled pietta parts in florida, is lame. Saying i said the 410 (that you dident even know about until i posted it ) is steel, is another of your fabrications. Beginning to doubt your hundred saa collection, too, and claims of consulting bell and taffin for holsters is beginning to sound like bluff-n-fluff as well....Had bigger fish to fry in that thread. Yep, they are screwy, them bots. On this thread alone i began searching for magazine and website support or refutation of pietta-parts HRRs, and while finding john taffin, and la vista bill postings that support it, as well as s.a.s.s. on facebook, google ai started with no, they werent, and devolved to yes, they did, but while amusing is of no more than comedy value to me. Many other times i have searched google for useful websites, and their silly ai often starts by telling me what i know for fact is wrong, sometimes it gets around to telling me i am right, half-right, or verry wrong, along with other silly things. It is an amusing experiment; to ask a question, controversial or not, and watch google ai go schizoid on the progression of answers. It will often suggest websites which only have one word in common with one's query. AI gets in the way unless i am bored.I guess some took it as a challenge to screw with the bots.
The one i ebayed is also too long from block-pin to notch. Curiouser and curiouser. Most internet advice, even on the other ruger'site, is gerind the end off...i have made my own, for italien and early hrrs (its just a 1/4" rod) but that was easy enough. I could file a new cross-latch notch with a chainsaw file like before, but think i will chase the proper one this time.
