I have a Toklat 454 I put Wolff spring in. 12# hammer and 8# trigger return. All is fine with non magnum primers, but I've had a couple light strikes (in single action) with Rem 7.5 br primers and hot loads. I've put the OEM hammer spring back in it, but left the trigger return spring at 8#. Am I correct in assuming the lighter trigger return spring would not have any effect on single action hammer strike? I can't see how they would be connected, and I'm happy with the SA pull with the 8# spring in the trigger. I know the reset changed with the lighter trigger spring, but I'm ok with that.
