I was fortunate to acquire this Super Blackhawk about thirty years ago from Lynn Laudise. I am sure many on this Forum remember him. He found some great Rugers. Most of the ones I purchased from him I still have.
Yessir I sure remember Lynn, he would sometimes call me when he got a good Super in. I bought a brunch of them too. Not exactly sure since my old memory is fading but I think I got #19 & #20 Long Fames from him.

As I recall from discussion years ago, your presentation secret it to wax your guns. You told me what wax you use but I did not retain that info. Can you refresh my memory? I might want to try it but would be hesitant to just use any random wax that might harm the bluing.
I never met Lynn Laudise but I remember seeing his ads in Shotgun News and I called him too late on a couple of Rugers that had already sold.
I use Renaissance Wax on the revolvers in my collection. It was recommended during a seminar I attended on preserving firearms. Last purchased several years ago on Amazon. A small can will last many, many years.
WOW . . . Lynn Laudise, a name I haven't heard/seen in many years. This thread prompted me to search for him here, and was thrilled to find all the related threads from over fifteen years ago. A great look back.
