Seems odd that it's not a white box. Must have shipped late.
With the faded end, I thought maybe it had a sticker over it and something other than a SBH shipped in it?

Ruger didn't start marking the serial number on the side in large white china marker numbers until 1968. So odds are, 4103 went back to the factory for some reason then was shipped back out in this box.
