Sunday School lessons....

I wonder how many who venture here are Sunday School teachers or maybe a substitute teacher. I've been called upon at times, sometimes as late as 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, to fill in for a teacher. So I try to keep a few lessons prepared for such a case.

It takes me about ten days or more to write a lesson, which is why I'm not a regular teacher. I pick a subject then try to develop it into some kind of lesson. Trouble is, I try to teach the whole Bible when starting out, and by the time I edit it, its altogether a different topic.

Anybody else have this problem?

I taught SS for over 25 years. Never had that problem. I only taught kids and had some really good teaching materials to use. Quite often I learned alot from some of those kids.
